Russell Island Community Arts is proudly showing a group exhibition of its members' artworks. An array of paintings, mosaics, ceramics and patchwork sewing are currently displayed. Come and see if you can recognize landscapes, portraits and still lives. Enjoy the colour, imagination, skill and passion that these keen artists put into their various crafts.
Not only does Ricarts offer a wide range of activities inside Farmhouse Gallery Space at the end of Robert St, Russell Island, thanks to Siobhan Demeester's enthusiastic and energetic drive, she is guiding keen painters to paint outside.
A group of artists spent a lovely morning painting on Lamb Island, at the water's edge, capturing the glorious sun glistening on the bay as boats gently swayed to the currents.
En Plein Air, means painting outside from observation of the natural world. On Thursday June 20, Siobhan is planning an exciting evening class. If you are interested to join and do something different, please contact RICArts on the information provided below.
