A CAPALABA man has won $129,000 in the Super 66 draw, having bought the ticket at the Mount Cotton Road News.
A Golden Casket spokesperson said the winning entry was drawn on Saturday but the man only discovered his windfall on Thursday.
"I went to the newsagency this morning to check my ticket and when it was scanned it was like it froze the machine," he told a Golden Casket official.
"I had no idea I'd won anything. When they told me I had won division one in Super 66 I just thought 'wow'."
The man said he had a premonition that he would be able to buy a new car soon.
"...Maybe this is what that meant," he said.
He said that he would also pay a few bills and share the money with his family.
"It's a life-changing prize for me and will help a lot of people out," he said.
Mount Cotton Road News owner Lyle Reilly said the outlet, where the entry was bought, had been on a winning streak.
"What a lucky month June has been for our outlet," he said.
"We sold a division two winning entry in Oz Lotto a couple of weeks ago and now we've sold division one for Super 66.
"Everyone is so excited for our customer who has scooped this great prize and we hope the luck continues."
