
POLICE have charged 30 people, including a 22-year-old Birkdale man, as part of Operation Romeo Heron which targets drug and property offences in the Wynnum area.
Acting Sergeant Brendon Winslow said the Birkdale man had been charged with seven counts of break and enter, two counts of receiving tainted property and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He is to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 2.
Acting Sergeant Winslow said the officers from Wynnum police, Capalaba Tactical Crime Squad, Railway Squad and Dog Squad had executed 14 search warrants over three days from June 24.
Address of interest had been identified with help from the Australian Federal Police and Australian Border Force and information provided to Crime Stoppers.

Other arrests included a 40-year-old Manly woman, 48-year-old Tingalpa man, 35-year-old Manly West woman and two Wynnum men aged 20 and 23.
The 30 people faced a total of 130 charges.
