REDLANDS Baseball Club was packed to the rafters on Saturday night for a Redlands2030 fundraising dinner and auction.
Redlands2030 president Steve MacDonald said the money raised would help the group keep the community abreast of local issues like the proposed Toondah Harbour development.
A pair of 1969 silver lunar landing earrings, donated by a Capalaba resident who received them from NASA, were auctioned off at the dinner to mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
Columnist Kathleen Noonan spoke at the dinner about the importance of community groups.
