REDLAND Performing Arts Centre will host the inaugural Young Entrepreneurs Summit on Friday, September 13.
The event is expected to attract more than 500 students, entrepreneurs and education professionals from Australia and New Zealand.
Business owners and entrepreneurs Vanessa Garrard, Leeanne Bond, Ian Mason and former Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice have been invited to share their expertise at the summit along with more than 25 other guest speakers.
Student entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet the speakers, workshop with like-minded students, showcase their ideas at a marketplace style exhibition and win prizes throughout the day.
The summit is geared towards entrepreneurs aged 12 to 25-years-old.
Breakthrough Energy founder and guest speaker Leeanne Bond said she was looking forward to passing her knowledge down to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
"I am really excited about being in a room full of young passionate people with big ideas," she said.
"I think it is events like these that really reinvigorate us in our efforts to help the next generation of leaders emerge to reach their full potential."
Garrard Group founder Vanessa Garrard said she felt a special connection to young Redland entrepreneurs.
"Having started in my own business journey at the age of 12, I am very happy to share my story with young entrepreneurs from the Redlands and Logan where I grew up and went to school at Coolnwynpin Primary and Marsden State High," she said.
"I understand just how important it is to share our stories and inspire one another."
