THE CLEVELAND Showgrounds were transported back in time for GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival on the weekend.
Pinup pageants, rockabilly music and a classic car exhibition were just some of the highlights from a three day event jam-packed with 1950s nostalgia.
Thousands of fans from around Australia converged on the showgrounds dressed in their finest vintage clothes to spend a few days rocking out to classic beats and revving hot rod engines.
Redland City Mayor Karen Williams said GreazeFest was one of the region's biggest events.
"The fans really put a lot of colour into the Redlands Coast across the weekend," she said.
Neil Varga, who has made an annual pilgrimage from Melbourne to the Redlands for the last ten years in his 1970 safari wagon, racked up 20,000 kilometres on his way to the 20th edition of GreazeFest this year.
