Redlands United travelled to AJ Kelly Park at Kippa Ring for their round 26 National Premier League clash with competition leaders Peninsula Power.

With Power looking towards the premiership and Redlands in fine form this promised to be a great clash.
Redlands caught the hosts off guard and applied pressure right from the kick off and it paid off in the third minute when Kado Aoci's diving header put the Red Devil's ahead 1 nil after Peninsula Power failed to clear the ball from their goal mouth after a corner.
Redlands kept the pressure on and when Igor Sao Jose managed to steal the ball from Power Inside his own half, some nice crisp, fast passing saw the ball up the other end quickly and turned away for a corner.
Alex Hastings neatly eluded his defender to get onto the end of Josh Anderson's well placed corner to nod home his 3rd goal of the season and take the advantage to 2 nil in the 23rd minute.

Redlands goalkeeper Jack Richards was kept busy in goal as Power went looking to score but the Red Devil's defense would not be denied.
Power scored in the 37th minute, when Josh Woolley turned in a cross from the right, colliding with keeper Richards but managing to slip the ball into the net.
The sides went into half-time with Redlands leading 2 goals to 1.
Redlands came out for the 2nd half wary of Power's counter attacking. Power showed why they are at the top of the competition as they came out determined to get the equaliser. Richards in Redlands' goal continued to marshal his defence, denying Power's attacking raids.
In the 57th minute a Power foul on Godfrey Debele saw Josh Anderson step up to take the free kick.
It was directed in towards the back post where Aoci, the shortest player on the field, jumped above two defenders and headed home his 2nd goal of the night and Redlands' 3rd restoring the Devils' 2 goal advantage at 1-3.
Next weekend the Red Devils host Gold Coast United at Cleveland.
