ORMISTON brothers Callum and Riley Brennan brought home five medals each from the Australian Surf Life Saving Pool Rescue Championships.
The boys were among more than 600 competitors who competed in the three date event at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre from August 9.
The Brennan boys' wins earned valuable points for the Currumbin Vikings Surf Life Saving Club, helping the club take out the overall point score for the sixth consecutive year.
Due to successes in the Queensland Pool Rescue Championships three weeks earlier, 15-year-old Callum had been selected to represent Queensland in the Interstate Championships.
The Queensland Cyclones proved their strong dominance in the water, winning the point score ahead of NSW and WA.
Callum and Riley won gold for their line throws, while Callum made the podium in the 200 metre super lifesaver race, 50 metre swim with fins and 4 x 25 metre manikin carry relay.
Riley, 13, won medals in team events like the obstacle relay, brick relay and medley relay.
Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club masters competitors Simon Johnstone, Matthew Robinson, Tony Langenberg and Mike Stone placed third in the 200 plus medley relay, while Johnstone and Robinson came second in the 40 to 49 year line throw event.
