REDLANDS Camera Club members have shared some macro photographs taken for an image critique evening.
A club spokesperson said the evening - held on the first Monday of the month - sees members submit images themed to a subject matter.
"They are critiqued by industry professionals and experienced photographers in a constructive and positive manner," the spokesperson said. "These evenings are packed with information and an ideal way to improve photography skills."
The photos shared here are macro images, which show a subject or object at close range.
"A good macro reveals details and textures in the subject that can't generally be seen with normal photography or observation," the spokesperson said. "The most convenient way to photograph small subjects is to use a dedicated macro lens."
The Redlands Camera Club members meet regularly at Wellington Point with fellow enthusiasts in a friendly, supportive environment to share ideas and friendships.
