Amazing watercolourist, Marion Hughes, is coming to Russell Island this month for a weekend watercolour workshop on October 19 and 20, for adult enthusiasts, 9.30am to 3.30pm, at RICArts, The Farm, Arthouse and Gallery, end of Robert St. Russell Island.

On Friday October 18, Marion will also teach watercolour painting to two groups of children at Russell Island State School, as part of this RICArts initiative.

Trish Dobson is offering another fabulous Random Weaving Workshop on October 5 and for Mental Health Week on October 13, 10am to 4pm, RICArts has an exhibition in the gallery, an open pottery shed and Devonshire teas with yummy homemade scones with jam and fresh cream, coffee or tea.
RICArts, a community-based organisation, is currently offering patchwork and sewing on Monday mornings with Sylvia Gillard, professionally guided pottery workshops on Mondays and Fridays, painting on Tuesdays, craft on Wednesdays and mosaics on Thursdays. All sessions only $5 to attend.
