The Redland City Chamber of Commerce has changed its trading name to Redlands Coast Chamber of Commerce and elected a president.
A special resolution was put to change the name, which aligns the chamber with Redland City Council's promotional and marketing line for the district.
Members voted 30 to three for the change.
The president will be Rebecca Young of Personalised Freight Solutions who was previously a vice president.
She will take over from Lynne Sturgess.
Vice presidents are Tony Curl, Think and Grow Business (returning), Ian Chester-Master, Your Financial Design (previously secretary), Adrian Reavley, Express Print and Sign (previously committee), treasurer Susan Napper, My Business Partner (returning), and secretary Annette Cussens, McCarthy Durie Lawyers previously committee).
Committee is Andrew Bourke, Executive Security Group (returning), Cath Koch, Wild Cat Design (returning), Lynne Sturgess, Precision Loans (previously president), Megan Warren, Key to Kids (returning), Mark Fitzgerald, Sail2Growth, and Rhett Bowlen, DTS Queensland.
Ms Young thanked outgoing president Ms Sturgess for her contribution during her tenure.
She also acknowledged the service of outgoing committee members Gordon Gage and Matthew Hunter.
