An incredibly wet day at Redlands Tigers, which saw 40mm of rain fall in two hours and a massive 75mm in a 24-hour period, made it impossible for first, fourth and fifth grades to play.

Second Grade, playing at Souths, won the toss and elected to bowl after the morning rain. Souths got off to a solid start but Redlands was able to pick up consistent wickets throughout the day, with Jasper Sumner picking up his first wicket for the Tigers and going on to take his first five-wicket haul for the club to stifle Souths' middle order. Ben Long also picked up two wickets to have Souths at 8/196 at the end of play.
In Third Grade, Souths appeared to have all the momentum coming into the last session of the day only to lose their last five wickets for just 2 runs to be all out for 225. Christian Robertson, following up his good form with 4 wickets, Klint Goodridge, 3 and Luke Haegel 2. The Redlands Tigers' lads are looking to chase down the total and post an important away win.
Sixth Grade 1s, playing on Jack Cooke Oval, were sent into bat. Redlands Tigers couldn't get going and were dismissed for just 51. Greg Morton was the only player to reach double figures of 18. Souths in response batted very well and found themselves in a commanding position at 2/129. Dale D'Souza and Tom Waters with the wickets.
Sixth Grade 2s was also washed out.
Lords Taverner's played Ipswich Logan on Peter Burge Oval on Sunday. Another very disciplined bowling performance from the group to eventually bowl Ipswich Logan out in the 48th over for 128.
Jacob Dunne, the spearhead taking 4/26, James Pullar 3/23 and Liam O'Connor 2/20. The Redlands Tigers' boys got off to a shaky start losing two quick wickets, bringing Keegan McClean and Rueben Burger together, with the pair combining for a 115-run partnership. Keegan finishing on 64* (89) and Rueben 56* (55) to complete a comprehensive victory in the 26th over for a double bonus-point win.
Women's First Grade played two T20s, with the first against Valleys. Batting first, the girls were dismissed for 64 in the 15th over. Clodagh Ryall top-scored with 27 (33). Valleys chased down the total in the 7th over, finishing 1/68. In the second game, the team took on Sandgate Redcliffe. Sandgate Redcliffe, batting first, posted a competitive 9/108. In response, the ladies got off to a quick start before a couple of wickets fell. Jessica Bird anchored the innings with 48 (58) before being run out. Del Laycock, with some late hitting, kept them in the game 12 (7). The ladies fell just 10 runs short, finishing 4/98.
Women's Second Grade played Valleys on Fred Kratzmann Oval on Sunday. Batting first, the Redlands' girls were under the pump early and were dismissed for 50. The Valleys' girls chased down the runs comfortably but did lose 4 wickets.
