POLICE are continuing their search for the perpetrators of a brazen ram raid attack carried out at Victoria Point Shopping Centre early Wednesday morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the thieves fled the scene in a silver station wagon which they used to plough through the centre's main entrance about 4am.
They drove the car through the shopping centre before reversing it into the windows of a jewellery store.
Whilst inside they used sledge hammers to smash glass cases before making off with an assortment of jewellery and watches.
The brazen thieves were last seen on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road.

THIEVES that trashed an entrance to Victoria Point Shopping Centre earlier this morning are confirmed to have escaped with an assortment of jewellery.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the thieves used a car to shatter the main entrance before smashing the windows of a jewellery store about 4am this morning.
He said the crime was reported to police at 6.30am.
The thieves were last seen on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road.
The spokesman could not confirm what car they were driving or the value of the jewellery they stole.
Earlier
POLICE are investigating a break-in that occurred at Victoria Point Shopping Centre overnight.
Workmen were at the scene of the crime about 10am this morning to repair the glass shopfront which was obliterated during the attack.
The brazen thieves targeted the entrance beside Rockmans and Millers fashion stores.
The area was littered with debris including glass and metal from the automatic door.
It is not known at this stage what they were trying to steal.
The attack is believed to have taken place early this morning.
Patrons are entering the centre through a small entrance beside the main doors.
Police said they were investigating the theft but declined to release further information.
Centre management also declined to comment.
