Love and Hope Redlands has started fundraising to prepare school packs for children of needy families heading off to school next year.

President Adriana Kuhn said that this year the group filled 16 book packs, with schools advising on which families were in need.
"This year we are attempting to give out 30 packs," she said.
The exact contents of next year's packs was still being determined by schools.
Ms Kuhn said cost levels varied but the most expensive pack was about $130.
"The schools will get their enrolments for 2020 by November and that is when they decide the families in need and send us their list of names and their book list requirements," she said.
"Schools chosen this year are Vienna Woods, Alexandra Hills State School and Coolnwynpin State School.
"Hopefully as we become more recognised in the area our supporters will grow and we will be able to help more schools throughout the Redlands.
"...We do usually add a backpack, a drink bottle and often a lunch box as well. Everything depends on our donations."
Ms Kuhn said the group was a registered charity, donations were tax deductible and there were no paid staff, only volunteers.
