POLICE seized a large amount of cash and cannabis at a Russell Island address on October 23.
Officers from the Capalaba Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant at the home, where they also found other drug-related paraphernalia.
A 59-year-old man will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on December 17, for offences including trafficking dangerous drugs.
This month, 47-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man will also appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court charged with possession of cannabis and possession of methamphetamine respectively, after separate incidents on High Street in October.
Assault
A RUSSELL Island man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm after an incident at the jetty on October 4.
He will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on November 21.
Public nuisance
A 48-YEAR-OLD Lamb Island man was issued with an infringement notice for a public nuisance offence on High Street, Russell Island on October 24.
Domestic violence
RUSSELL Island Police investigated five alleged domestic violence incidents in October.
Vehicle security
POLICE reminded people to take precautions to stop vehicles or valuables contained within vehicles from being stolen.
Motorists were urged to lock doors, ensure their windows were up, keep valuables out of sight and avoid parking their cars in vulnerable positions.
They could also use anti-theft devices such as steering locks, alarms, engine immobilisers and anti fuel theft devices.
