Bottle bandits raided donation bins at Capalaba Rugby League Club in late October before hitting The Cage Youth Foundation early Tuesday morning.
An estimated $100 worth of bottles were stolen from both locations. It is not known whether the events were connected.
The Cage managing director Peter Grieve said two flashlights were caught on CCTV cameras at 3.29am.
It is believed two people entered the Redland Bay property and stole from the donation bins.
Mr Grieve said the money from bottle donations went towards The Cage's running costs and community programs.
"We had a lady suffering from domestic violence come in two weeks ago," he said.
"She told us she had her kids with her and they were on their way to a safe house.
"...We filled her car up and gave her a whole load of food and she went on her merry way.
"They are the sort of things we do with the money."
Capalaba Warriors secretary Cynthia Sargent said the club was raising money to send the under 13s team to Sydney.
"They bent the bottom of the metal to get in to the bins and stole 1000 cans," she said.
"It was just outside the security cameras at the time so we didn't catch anyone but they have been moved so they're now under the cameras."
Ms Sargent said it would take a while to recoup their losses during the off-season but Capalaba MP Don Brown had pledged $100 to help them out.
She said the club was still using the vandalised bin for donations but they were in the process of sourcing a new one.
