Improved lighting, seating and shelter at the platforms are part of the new station on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, which opened on Monday.
The station, which cost $9.77 million, fits six buses over its two platforms.
Bike racks have been installed.
Redlands MP Kim Richards said the new station would make a difference to passengers' journeys.
"The state government is investing in public transport infrastructure right across Queensland and our new bus station is a great example with modern facilities for the Redlands,'' Ms Richards said.
"Our plan is to deliver upgrades where they're needed most so people spend less time in traffic.
"That's why we're locked in $42 million to add more lanes to Cleveland Redland Bay Road and will start work next year to upgrade the Anita Street intersection."
