CLEVELAND line trains have resumed after being suspended for about seven hours this morning.
Before 5am, trains were suspended between Cleveland and Lindum due to problems with overhead power lines, causing big delays for some commuters.
A spokesperson said no residual delays were expected.
The announcement came shortly before Translink told commuters that the 11.39am Cleveland to Central train was cancelled, also due an overhead power line issue.
UPDATE 10.30am
COMMUTERS on the Cleveland line face delays of up to 30 minutes in both directions, with trains suspended between Cleveland and Lindum since before 5am.
Translink urged commuters to plan for extra travel time due to problems with overhead power lines.
Buses have been operating for commuters since about 5.30am.

REDLANDS commuters have faced rail disruptions on the first working day of 2020, with Cleveland line trains suspended for more than four hours.
Translink announced at 4.40am that trains would be suspended between Cleveland and Lindum due to issues with overhead power lines.
A spokesperson said buses would replace trains while delays continued but commuters should allow extra travel time.
Some Redlands commuters were also affected by the cancellation of a peak hour train between Manly and Central station due to a signalling issue.
