POLICE have charged a 43-year-old woman with three offences after a crash at Macleay Island on January 15 that allegedly resulted in damage to three vehicles and injured two people.
The woman is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle while drugs were present and failing to remain at the incident.
A police spokesman said the crash took place about 4.40pm on High Central Road and Citron Street.
He said the woman was seen driving a convertible sedan.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said two people injured in the crash were taken to Redland Hospital in a stable condition after paramedics were called to the scene about 5pm.
She could not confirm the age or gender of the people involved in the accident, or the nature of their injuries.
Police are appealing for people to come forward if they witnessed the crash or have CCTV and dash cam footage from the time of the incident.
