The RACQ's Red Spot Congestion survey asked motorists to name the worst roads in their district for traffic levels, but many readers used it as a chance to criticise the state of the surfaces.
Mount Lindesay Highway came in for the most criticism from Jimboomba's readers, with many naming it the worst in the area, but others were nominated.
One resident criticised the state of Mona Drive at Jimboomba.
"[I] take a wheelchair person to hospital three days a week," Chris Grant wrote on Facebook.
"[It is] absolutely a nightmare with pot holes and patches and very narrow."
Another questioned the roads' ability to deal with the area's predicted population growth.
Christine Flewellen was critical of Middle and Teviot roads, Greenbank.
"With two new estates filling up fast there is no infrastructure to deal with this," she wrote.
Rachael Johnson said the corner of Eaglesfield St and Brisbane St was a commuter concern.
"Trying to turn right here through peak hour times is atrocious and it holds up commuters trying to get to the post office, shops and doctors on the corners," she said.
Numerous readers nominated Running Creek Road.
Cleveland Redland Bay Rd and Mt Cotton Rd were nominated by Redlands readers.
Another said Boundary Rd had been a nightmare for years.
"My kids could not cross the road to catch a bus to school," Michelle Robertson wrote.
"For eight years I waived traffic to let me in so I could go around the roundabout and drop them across the road to catch a bus to school. No safe crossings this end at all."
Steph Pollock lamented the extra travel time Redlands motorists faced.
"It used to take me 16 minutes to get from Redland Bay to Cleveland at school time, 12 years ago," she wrote.
"It now takes me 33 minutes, banked back time and time again."
Alicia Browne said Cleveland-Redland Bay Rd was the worst.
"The whole lot of it," she wrote.
"[You are] lucky to ever get up to the speed limit."
