WORKERS will carry out maintenance to the Thorneside Road rail bridge from April 14 to June 21.
Queensland Rail will be working on the bridge between between Quarry Road and Railway Parade, Thorneside for several weeks.
To minimise the impact on road users, work will be conducted at night between the hours of 8pm and 5am on the following days:
Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 April
Sunday 19 to Friday 24 April
Sunday 31 May to Friday 5 June
Monday 8 to Friday 12 June
Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 June (all weekend)
On some occasions the road will be closed only to one lane, and at other times it will be necessary to close the road in both directions.
Detours will be in place and traffic control will be on site to ensure the safe movement of motorists and pedestrians.
Residents adjacent to the works may experience some noise and lights from the use of equipment,
construction activities and vehicle movements.
Work may be subject to change due to weather conditions and operational requirements.
