The Job Finder web portal is part of the government's $4 billion COVID-19 package and Redlands MP Kim Richards said it would help locals who had lost their jobs due to coronavirus.
"This new online portal will allow Queenslanders who are looking for work to provide information on their skills, location and work experience," she said.
"That information can then be readily matched to local job opportunities.
"We are seeing demand in a wide range of industries in Redlands, including health care, aged care, transport and cleaning."

Nine short training courses in areas like food service, health and aged care, transport, mental health support, digital literacy, cyber security and business were also available through the portal.
Capalaba MP Don Brown said with more Queenslanders staying at home, there was no better time to look at upskilling and undertaking further training.
"We will be working with the recruitment and staffing industry body to share information on job seekers to match them to potential opportunities," he said.
Any Queensland job seeker can register their details, skills and location via the Jobs Finder Queensland portal and access free online training at jobsfinder.qld.gov.au.
