A VICTORIA Point resident is busting a move to boost spirits during coronavirus isolation.
Locals will know Bronwyn Reading from her performances at RedFest but the 73-year-old is now taking the global bin outing movement to another level.
People around the world have been dressing up in weird and wacky costumes to make taking the bins out a little more entertaining during lock down but Ms Reading is putting her own spin on the trend.
Last week she performed a fan veil dance at the top of her driveway as the garbage man arrived to collect her rubbish.
She was greeted with a smile and has since taken to decorating her bin, dubbed 'Binderella', in support of the Red Hat Society, which provides older women with opportunities for social interactions.
Ms Reading said she was a big supporter of the bin outing movement and had decided to start dancing on her driveway to make life a little brighter for those living on her street.
"It gives everybody a laugh. You have got to do something during difficult times," she said.
"One of my neighbours came out to watch.
"I like making people happy and myself happy. That's what it is all about."
Ms Reading said she would continue to dress-up and make an outing out of her trip up the driveway each week.
"I might even be a Guinness fairy or an Irish fairy next week," she said.
"Over the years I have collected a lot of costumes so I have probably got enough for every week for another year."
Ms Reading is also encouraging people to put a red ribbon on their door as a show of support for frontline health workers.
"That is just to acknowledge those trying to fight COVID-19," she said.
