They will reopen at 7am on Sunday.
The company wants people to shop alone where possible and consider buying products online after queues last weekend at places like Capalaba in the Redlands.
Managing director Mike Schneider said Bunnings was following government COVID-19 advice and WAs adapting the way it operated to keep staff and customers safe.
Customers were also able to shop online as well as order products then pick them up at stores, with staff placing them in vehicles.
This featured no contact between staff and customers.
"We're taking a common-sense approach to finding ways to quickly adapt our business so that we can continue to safely serve our retail customers and enable tradies to keep their businesses running," Mr Schneider said.
Like other stores, Bunnings has implemented social distancing measures, including limiting customer numbers in store and aisles.
"We'd like to thank our customers for taking these changes in their stride - shopping solo wherever possible, planning ahead to shop more efficiently, observing social distancing and product restrictions and making cashless payments," he said.
"We'd also like to thank them for their patience as we limit customer numbers in store, which may mean they have to wait for a short time to enter."
Goods can be collected at 250 Bunnings stores although smaller format outlets are not included.
Most Bunnings stores will open in the afternoon on ANZAC Day, however stores in some states will be closed. Customers are encouraged to check their local stores trading hours.
In Queensland all stores will be closed Anzac Day and will reopen 7am Sunday.
