RICArts is getting back into the swing of things after COVID-19 restrictions eased, with a new exhibition beginning next weekend at the recently-reopened Farm, Art House and Gallery.
Smell the Coffee Exhibition opens at 10am on Saturday, July 25 at the gallery on Robert Street, Russell Island, with prize announcements, gourmet catering and music.
With more than 40 participants from all four Southern Moreton Bay Islands, it promises to be a bonanza.
The exhibition will be on display every morning until Sunday, August 23 and consists of a vast array of exceptionally-crafted coffee themed items.
The event is supported by the Redland City Council community grants.
RICArts encouraged people to come and support the joyous event in the stunningly beautiful avocado gardens for a great family treat.
RICArts will also celebrate Light Up Russell Island on Saturday August 22, with a lantern parade from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Make a note in your diaries to join this joyful celebratory event.
Markets are starting up again, with bric a brac, plants, arts and crafts, a sausage sizzle and Devonshire tea.
Dates include Sunday, August 2 from 8am to 12pm and Saturday, September 5 from 10am to 2pm.
For information please contact Mandy on 0460 404 499.
Trisha Dobson has an Open Weave Residency at RICArts opening on Saturday, September 5 to coincide with the markets. Workshops will be held on September 5, 12 and 19, closing on the final day with a picnic.
