RUSSELL Island police issued 10 infringement notices for offences of speeding and vehicles parked illegally in August.
On August 12 a 37-year-old man was charged for failing to provide a specimen of breath at a roadside breath test, failure to provide specimen of breath for analysis, drink driving and obstructing police and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on September 14.
A 53-year-old Russell Island man was issued a notice to appear at the Cleveland Magistrates Court on September 28 when he was caught allegedly driving without a license on August 29.
Drug offences
A 48-year-old man from Russell Island was issued a notice to appear for alleged possession of dangerous drugs and is due to appear at Noosa Magistrates Court on October 10.
A 32-year-old man was issued a notice to appear for possessing dangerous drugs and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on September 17.
Good Order offences
A 35-year-old man was charged for allegedly making threats and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on September 24.
Property offences
Police are investigating an alleged burglary that occurred on August 2 at an address on Harvey Street.
Officers are investigating after a vehicle parked at a dirt car park allegedly had all four tyres slashed overnight between August 30 and August 31.
Police are also investigating an unlawful use of a motor vehicle that allegedly occurred throughout the early hours of the morning of August 24 at Angorra Street. The vehicle was later located in Currong Street.
Domestic violence
Russell Island police have investigated 13 domestic violence incidents during August.
