Between election countdowns, corruption claims and general politicking it almost seems like it's business as usual, Australia.
But alas, no.
Talk continues about border closures and openings - this time Tasmania is front and centre; hopes about Melbourne emerging from lockdown have all but been dashed; and NSW's COVID cases keep on keeping on.
But also today (well, right now really) the Victorian Parliament's lower house is debating the state opposition's motion of no-confidence in Premier Daniel Andrews and his Labor government.
Opposition Leader Michael O'Brien said the Premier bungled the hotel quarantine program, ignored offers of Australian Defence Force support and imposed tough coronavirus restrictions that "make no sense".
But with Labor's 11-seat majority, the possibility of the motion succeeding is unlikely.
NSW didn't have all the corruption claims to themselves today when it emerged that election candidates had been warned about integrity amid reports Liberal National Party leader Deb Frecklington attending a series of fundraisers involving property developers.
The ABC reported she was referred to the Electoral Commission of Queensland by her own party for attending at least five private fundraisers where property developers were present.
But the LNP leader denied she had received a show-cause notice from ECQ about the fundraising events.
There were more denials in NSW parliament today, too, as under-fire Premier Gladys Berejiklian was hammered during Question Time.
And just when you thought the NSW Premier and former Wagga MP Daryl Maguire were an odd combo, it occurred that she also now joins Angus Taylor on the "did I really write that" list.
Remember Mr Taylor congratulating himself on Facebook? In the lead-up to the 2019 election, the Energy Minister was caught out after his official Facebook page was spotted replying to its own post. "Fantastic. Great move. Well done Angus", he told himself.
It didn't go unnoticed. Much like Ms Berejiklian's "Congrats!!! Great News!! Woo hoo" text to her now not-so secret former beau and former MP Daryl Maguire. Safe to say, the bleating of "woo hoo" in state parliament won't be the last Ms Berejiklian hears of woo hoo.
Oh, and incidentally, Mr Maguire is due to give evidence at ICAC from 10am tomorrow. There just might be a bit more interest than there was last week.
