A man was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital last night after a crash in Wellington Point.
Paramedics, including the critical care and the high acuity response unit, responded to a motorcycle and car crash about 7.18pm at the intersection of Old Cleveland Road East and Riverton Drive.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said a man aged in his 40s sustained a head injury and was transported in a serious condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical care on board.
A second patient, a female of unknown age, was transported in a stable condition to Redland Hospital for precautionary measures.
It comes after two people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Shore Street West and Gordon Street in Cleveland earlier in the day.
Residents took to the Redland City Bulletin Facebook page to have their say.
Mary Oxley Griffiths said: "It's a very dangerous intersection for people trying to turn west from Gordon Street onto Shore Street".
Danielle Platt said: "It is a horrible intersection. I never turn right out of Gordon. Always go further up to the main roundabout. And always advise anyone who visits to never use that way either. I am surprised there at not more accidents here".
Jeremy Green called for more traffic lights on the road.
