TIS the season to be jolly and sing-along to your favourite tunes.
Budding pop stars can take to the stage at Redlands RSL on International Day of People with Disability next Thursday.
To mark the day STAR Community Services is inviting the community to join in a sing-along event and enjoy some afternoon tea in Cleveland.
The day is held on December 3 every year to celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability.
STAR Singalong will be at the Redlands RSL from 2pm to 5pm. Bookings are essential.
Inspirational speakers from the community, Arran Hansen, Rebecca Sharrock and Tamar Flannery will share their achievements, passions and personal challenges they have faced living with a disability.
Adele Tresillian will lead a Christmas singalong, demonstrating her singing talent.
"IDPwD is such a great opportunity to highlight what our local community has to offer in the form of support and activities for people with disability and to celebrate our diversity", STAR General Manager Patsy Wilshire said.
The event is supported by the Redland City Council as part of the Community Grant funding to assist the Redlands Coast community.
