REEVA Baldwin (nee Clements) passed away at Regis Birkdale, aged 94 years.
Ms Baldwin was married to former Redland MP Ted Baldwin and had three sons and a daughter.
She lived and worked in the Redlands area for more than 60 years and was a beloved and active associate of the Queensland Teachers Union for much of that time.
Her husband was elected for the Labor party in 1969, on a platform of strong education reform and investment.
Ms Baldwin was also an enthusiastic tennis player and played with the ladies' Redlands tennis team from 1964-1968 and she held on to the trophies to prove it.
Many of her children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren remain in the Redlands area, close to the family home.
Her funeral will be held today at Great Southern Memorial Park at 11am, and also live streamed to friends, loved ones, and supporters all around the world.
