RESIDENTS' Easter plans will go ahead, with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announcing the Greater Brisbane lockdown will be lifted from 12pm on Thursday.
There were 10 new COVID-19 cases overnight, nine of which were in hotel quarantine and only one of which was community-acquired.
There were fears the lockdown could continue over the Easter weekend, one of the most important periods for tourism operators.
But Ms Palaszczuk said Queenslanders were free to get out and about this weekend.
"Please be safe and enjoy your time away with family and friends," she said.
Easter church services have been given the go-ahead, with a one person per two square metre rule.
Restrictions will remain in place until April 15.
People are required to carry a mask when leaving home, and wear them in indoor spaces.
Diners at cafes or restaurants must remain seated, and a one person per two square metre rule applies at businesses.
Aged and disability care facilities, hospitals and prisons will only be open to end-of-life visitors.
"We are not out of the woods yet," Ms Palaszczuk said.
"If we all do the right thing, we can get through this together."
There are 82 active cases in Queensland hospitals.
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said the single community case had been to the party at Byron Bay attended by a COVID-positive nurse, and had been in quarantine during their infectious period.
Rebecca Young from the Redlands Coast Chamber of Commerce said it was important for people to support local businesses over the Easter weekend.
"The key will be establishing confidence in the community to get out [and] about safely after lockdown," she said.
Dr Young said people should be extra careful about providing their contact details at venues to enable contact tracing.
