A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a series of burglaries at Mount Cotton and Victoria Point on the weekend.
The teen was dealt with under the Youth Justice Act and appeared in Cleveland Children's Court on Monday.
Police allege burglaries took place at Poplin Street, Mount Cotton and Horsley Place, Victoria Point in the early hours of Saturday, May 22.
A stolen gold Toyota Kluger was seen at both locations. Another car, a bronze Toyota Aurion, was stolen from the Victoria Point address.
Both vehicles were found abandoned at Logan later in the day.
Police said they were conducting further investigations, as a number of people were seen at the Victoria Point robbery.
The events come just a week after four cars and a home were hit during an early morning crime spree at Mount Cotton.
Thieves are alleged to have stolen laptops, credit cards, ID, clothing, tools and cash.
