A team of under 12 Red City Roar Basketballers have taken home the gold and remained undefeated at the South Queensland Junior Basketball Competition following an record breaking season.
In division two the girls won all 16 of their games, including the grand final, defeating the Brisbane Capitols 54-31 at Auchenflower Stadium last weekend.
Throughout the season, the team scored more than 900 points and had only 400 scored against, a record for the Redcity Roar club.
The girls will head to the division two state champions this weekend at Cornubia Park Sports Centre & Mount Warren Indoor Sports Centre in Logan.
The Redcity Roar junior sign on day is also coming up this weekend on Saturday June 26 from 9am-12pm at Capalaba Central Shopping Centre.
