REDLANDS product Marnus Labuschagne broke a county cricket record in the UK less than a day after leaving Covid isolation.
The star batsman broke the record for highest score by a Glamorgan second XI player this week as he piled on 276 against Northamptonshire.
His knock, which eclipsed the previous record set by Ian Thomas in 2003, included an astounding 34 fours and came at greater than run-a-ball pace.
Labuschange missed out on selection for the first team match on Sunday because he was still isolating after being named a close contact of teammate Nick Selman.

The Brisbane batsmen tested positive to the virus at the end of last month, forcing Labuschagne to be pulled from Glamorgan's T20 Blast game with Middlesex.
It was a timely innings for the Australian number three, who has been struggling for form in the County Championship despite dominating the limited overs tournament.
He is averaging just 25 in the four day competition but has scored 294 runs at 59 in the T20 Blast.
It has emerged that Labuschagne will return to Australia later this month to be with his family ahead of the summer of cricket in Australia, which includes an Ashes series against England.
The first test is to be played on Labuschagne's home turf at the Gabba in early December.
His last innings on Australian soil was a knock of 192 against New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield final at Allan Border Field.
The 27-year-old won man of the match for that performance before taking out Ian Healy Trophy, which is awarded to the overall best Queensland Bulls player, and the Sheffield Shield Player of the Year.
