A Cleveland tradie struggled to finish his work day on Monday after receiving a life changing phone call during his lunch break.
The young father was one of five division one winners in the Saturday Gold Lotto after he bought a ticket online, taking home $1.3 million.
At midday an official broke the news to the lucky winner.
"I certainly wasn't expecting your phone call. This is absolutely insane," he said. "I was already struggling to work today, I don't know how I'm going to keep working for the rest of the day."
Three of the five winners in the Saturday Gold Lotto were from Queensland.
After learning he would have an extra $1.3 million in his pocked, the tradie said he would be able to set his family up for life.
"I've got a young family, so this will change things so much," he said. "We've always rented, and now we will finally be able to buy a house.
"My wife is not going to believe me when I call her and tell her this."
In 2020, Saturday Gold Lotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.
