The Old SchoolHouse Gallery in Cleveland is celebrating 30 years of creating art in the Redlands.
The celebrations will culminate in October with a special all-members exhibition titled Iconic Redlands showcasing artists, including invited guest groups from Coochiemudlo and Macleay Islands.
A special feature will be a collaboration; Birds of the Redlands which will involve 2D and 3D artworks. The official opening of the exhibition will be on Saturday October 2 from 5pm.
During October the community are invited to join gallery artists to create a mural on the gallery's shed. Workshops for public participation will be on Sundays October 10 and 17.

The month will conclude with an art market on Sunday October 31 with art stalls, food, music as well as art demonstrations. The Old SchoolHouse Gallery will unveil the mural at 11am, followed by the closure of a crafted time capsule which will be sealed for the next 20 years.
The capsule will contain history, newspaper clippings, memories and thoughts from members, their artist statements and other memorabilia. Anyone wishing to add their thoughts or memories about the gallery, drop by and put it in the capsule.
