Redland cricketers fought hard on the pitch in tough outings for the club last weekend.
First grade took on Valleys in their first two day match after Christmas.
Redlands fought hard with the bat, but the target of 341 was a little out of reach.
Jason Grosvenor top scored with 51 not out in his return to first grade and debutant Carter Pearson remained not out on 44 at the close of play.
Second grade also played a two day match, bowling first at home, Tigers managed to bowl Valleys out for 242 on the stroke of stumps on Saturday.
Bowling honours belonged to leg spinner, Japser Sumner, who claimed 6/75 from 30 overs and was supported by left arm speedster, Tom Biggs who took 3/55.
Unfortunately Tigers didn't have their best day out with the bat and we're bowled out for 96 in the 36th over.
Valleys finished on 8/150 at the end of days play.
Third grade enjoyed a hard fought win against Toombul to secure a spot in the one day semi final next Sunday.
Fouth grade was in a shootout for a semi final spot, however they couldn't come away with a win.
Captain Matt Fay lead from the front with his second century of the season, finishing not out on 110 from 116 balls.
Fifth grade were also in the hunt for a finals spot but went down convincingly to Toombul.
Sixth grade finished their one day competition on a high with a tight victory over Toombul, dismissing the side for 134.
