A SHOW fit for royalty will soon be staged for Redlands audiences.
Right Royal Ravers, produced by the University of the Third Age’s musical theatre group, brings Queen Elizabeth I and her father back to the comedy limelight.
U3A spokeswoman Julianne Whitehead said the cast had embraced their majestic roles, ensuring fun and frivolity.
“It is a light hearted production,” she said.
“In Act 1, Sir Walter Raleigh returns from exploring the New World with a unique gift for Her Majesty – a gift she can not refuse.
“Queen Elizabeth I is the centre of the production, with her daddy, Henry VIII, very nearly upstaging her.”
Ms Whitehead said Scottish and Starlight dancers would also entertain.
Tickets are $10 per person, which includes afternoon tea.
The show is at Thornlands State School’s hall from 2pm on both Sunday, June 10 and Sunday, June 17.
