A REDLANDS man, aged in his 50s, might never need to mow lawns for money again after winning $1 million overnight.

Its the third time in three days Redlanders have won a Gold Lotto first division prize, or a slice of.
A spokesperson for thelott.com said the man had told a Golden Casket caller he was in need of a beer after finding out about the win.

He said he had played the same numbers for the past 25 years and was delighted he had finally won on Monday night.
“The most I’ve ever won is about $35,” the man said.
“You always hear of people who win the first time they buy an entry – I’m the opposite.”
The man was one of only two first division prize winners across Australia in the draw, with the other winner based in New South Wales.
The luck has followed other Redlands wins.
A Redlands couple became $2.857 million richer on Saturday night after winning a Gold Lotto first division prize.
The same amount was also split by entrants in a 20-share store syndicate run by Victoria Point news agency News Worx.
The winning numbers in the Gold Lotto draw 3786 on Monday, July 31 were 29, 11, 8, 40, 35 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 2.
