CORIE Janssen’s dream of one day of dancing with the stars could soon become a reality.

The Redlands College year 12 student has been accepted into dance school Ettingshausens Pro at Sydney, where she will study certificate training in dance next year.

Corie has already mastered ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary styles, with extra training set to help her unlock a glittering career.

“My goal is to be successful in the commercial side of dance, touring with artists is my ultimate dream,” she said.

Corie has already studied with dance professionals, including at Los Angeles, which is the home of celebrity capital Hollywood.

She also performed in the Australian Dance Festival earlier this year.

Corie said dance continued to inspire her, more than a decade after she first began studying the performing art as a five-year-old.

“I have loved dancing and performing ever since I was little, dancing is like an escape,” she said.

“Performing creates a moment in time where I can absorb myself into the music and the movement.”
