Redland mayor Karen Williams said four Harrow cast members and 55 crew spent a day filming at Redland Bay for episode two in January.
Cr Williams said the cast members included Welsh star and lead actor Ioan Gruffudd, who plays Dr Daniel Harrow, and Jolene Anderson (All Saints, Home and Away).
Scenes from the first season were filmed at Cleveland in November 2017.
"I'm pleased that Hoodlum Entertainment has again recognised the versatility of Redlands Coast's naturally wonderful locations and that Redland Bay was a location of choice for its second season of Harrow," Cr Williams said.
"Redlands Coast community groups that directly benefitted from the filming of Harrow season two included the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association Redland Bay and Redland Bay Amateur Fishing Club."
Harrow season two executive producer Nathan Mayfield said the crew looked forward to filming in the Redlands every season.
"A lot of crew live in Redlands so it's great to have an opportunity to work in our backyard and show off what the area has to offer," Mr Mayfield said.
Screen Queensland chief executive officer Tracey Vieira said Harrow season two had created about 300 jobs for Queensland cast and crew as well as 800 extras and provided three training opportunities for new and emerging practitioners across editing, writing and the camera department.
Harrow season two sees the return of unorthodox pathologist Dr Daniel Harrow.
The synopsis states that after surviving an attempted murder, Harrow gets back to work solving baffling cases, while on a personal mission that cuts closer to home than before.
Harrow is made by Hoodlum Entertainment for ABC Australia and Disney-owned ABC Studios International. The series has been supported by Screen Queensland.
The 10-part series premieres on Sunday, May 12 at 8.40pm on ABC TV.
