PUNTERS are backing Labor to win Saturday's federal election but Bowman's LNP incumbent Andrew Laming will comfortably retain his conservative seat.

The latest Sportsbet betting on the election outcome has Labor at $1.16 to win ahead of the Coalition on $5.
In the Bowman electorate, Sportsbet favours Mr Laming at $1.15, while Labor's Tom Baster is on $4.75.
The Greens is at $26 and One Nation at $51.
Fraser Anning's Conservative National Party and the United Australia Party are both at $81.
In the knife-edge seat of Forde, Labor's Des Hardman is at $1.3, while incumbent and Coalition candidate Bert van Manen has blown out at $3.2.
In the conservative Wright electorate, Sportsbet has the Coalition's Scott Buchholz at $1.08. Labor's Pam McCreadie is at $6.50.
