A GREEN Jeep and building materials were reportedly stolen at Macleay Island this month.
Between January 3 and January 7, police say building materials were stolen from properties on the east side of the island.
The incident prompted police to urge residents and workers to ensure all building materials were locked up while on site.
Between January 14 and January 17, a green Jeep with Queensland registration 979XQD was reported stolen from a carpark on the island.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Good order offence
A 58-year-old man from Macleay Island was issued a public nuisance infringement for an alleged incident on January 6 in Beelong Street.
A 40-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, all from Macleay Island, were also issued public nuisance notices for an incident on Whiting Street.
On January 18, a 49-year-old man from Macleay Island allegedly damaged glass doors and caused a public nuisance at a licensed venue on the island.
The man has been charged with wilful damage and public nuisance and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court in February.
Domestic violence
Macleay Island Police investigated five domestic violence incidents in January.
Traffic
Three people were charged with drug driving after tests conducted by Redland Bay Water Police conducted this month.
A 45-year-old Redbank Plains man and a 35-year-old Springwood man will appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court on February 24, while a 45-year-old man from Macleay Island will face court in March.
A Macleay Island woman is facing dangerous driving and drugs charges after a traffic incident which allegedly saw two people injured. She will face court in March.
Macleay Island police also issued 18 infringement notices for speeding and parking offences.
The island's officer in charge reminded the community that school zones were now back in force.
