STAR Community Services is keeping an eye on vulnerable members of the Redlands community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Staff and volunteers have been calling clients to check if they are well, need assistance or a ride to an appointment or somewhere essential.
General manager Patsy Wilshire said STAR was working hard to ensure clients had access to essential services.

"COVID-19 has disrupted our way of life and there is a lot of uncertainty as to how that will impact on our clients," she said.
"We know at this time there is so much happening in the world and spending the day in front of a TV listening to bad news can be upsetting.
"STAR has a team that is considering alternative ways to support you in accessing essential services that is in line with government advice."
Contact manager Tracy Darroch praised contact centre staff and volunteers for their commitment to helping the vulnerable and isolated while working from home.
"Their work in the contact centre is of the utmost importance in keeping STAR delivering its services and getting essential services and care to the most vulnerable people in our community," she said.
"Everything the staff and volunteers are doing, in a bid to support those who are vulnerable and isolated, is outstanding."
STAR are encouraging those that need help with shopping, getting to an appointment, gardening and assistance around the home to call 3821 6699.
