BAYSIDE South RSL sub-branch at Redland Bay and Jones Retail Group have formed a partnership to deliver grocery care packages to veterans ahead of Anzac Day.
Sub-branch vice president Matt Dyson said more than 60 boxes full of non-perishable food like biscuits, pasta, rice, soup, oats and other groceries were being delivered to the homes of RSL members.
Staff at the Supa IGA Mount Cotton store were among those responsible for putting the packages together, with Jones Retail Group and the RSL sub-branch both chipping in for the cost of the hampers.

Mr Dyson said the sub-branch's members were glad just to have someone visiting them while in isolation.
"There are a couple over in Hemmant who I delivered to yesterday, he and his wife have been married for 60 years and they haven't seen anyone," he said.
"I think that is an important message. All of us are going through and having to make changes because of the virus.
"Some of the elderly struggle to get visitation at the best of times but at the moment it is really tough on them."
Mr Dyson said delivery was scheduled to be completed today so all members would have their packages before Anzac Day.
"It is an amazing thing that they have been delivered so quickly," he said.
"They have made a total of 62 packs but 10 of those are hospital packs because we have members going in and out of hospital semi regularly."
Mr Dyson, who served in conflicts during the 1990s and is the son of a Vietnam veteran, said he missed a few Anzac days through illness and got involved in the sub-branch last year.
"I didn't know that the Bayside South branch even existed and now here I am 10 months later as the vice president," he said.
"They are an amazing group of guys and their wives are heavily involved too.
"The reception that I saw yesterday was remarkable. I thought it would be good but it exceeded my expectations.
"I just came away thinking 'this is amazing'. It made me feel incredible, the whole giving side of things."
