REDLANDS sisters Erin Zammit and Brooke Cramp were already inseparable, but they have just become a little bit closer, giving birth less than 12 hours apart at the same hospital with the same doctor.
The sisters welcomed their new babies - one boy and one girl - at Mater Mothers' Hospital last week.
"We are a very tight knit family," Ms Cramp said.
"Our eldest children are only four months apart. I know they will all grow up to be best friends with their cousins."
Ms Zammit welcomed Rosa Brooke on Tuesday, April 28 at 8.45pm weighing 3250 grams.
In yet another coincidence, baby Rosa shares the same birthday as her father.
Ms Cramp welcomed a son, baby Alexander Matthew, born at 8.09am on Wednesday, April 29 weighing 4260 grams.
Dr Matt MacBeth delivered both babies.
The similarities between the two babies do not stop at their birthdays - both also have two older siblings.
Both families will have a lot to celebrate this Mother's Day.
