POLICE have arrested a man who allegedly sparked a road rage incident on a quiet suburban street at Alexandra Hills last week.
The 23-year-old, from Mount Gravatt, is alleged to have punched the driver of another vehicle several times shortly before midday on Thursday.
Police say he emerged from the passenger side of his vehicle while stopped at Balmoral Street and approached a 28-year-old man, who was seated in his car at the time of the alleged attack.
The 23-year-old allegedly punched the man repeatedly while holding an unidentified item in his hand.

The victim sustained multiple puncture wounds to his abdomen and an injury to his arm.
The offender returned to his vehicle and fled the scene before the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch tracked him down at an Alexandra Hills address.
He was arrested and was due in Cleveland Magistrates Court last Friday.
The 28-year-old victim was treated for injuries.
Police say the incident took place after the two cars were involved in an incident on Finucane Road.
