A Victoria Point retiree's lucky numbers have come through for a major Keno win at his local club.
The man took home $113,440 from the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club on a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry.
The regular patron at the club said the thrill was still sinking in.
"A few people were walking around the club saying that someone had won an 8 Spot prize," he said.
"I didn't think it could be me, but I thought I'd better check my ticket... I was over the moon. It was very exciting. I've never won anything like it in my life.
"We're going to buy some new furniture for the house."
Club general manager Michael Milanovic said it was great to have a local man win such a large prize.
"All our other patrons were so thrilled to know a jackpot had been won in the club," he said.
"This would have to be close to the biggest win we've had."
Next Thursday's Powerball has reached its largest jackpot of the year so far at $80 million.
Powerball has reached $80 million only twice this year, with one Melbourne man winning the entire jackpot, and two NSW players splitting the prize for $40 million each.
