In-branch library programs across Redlands have been suspended

For four weeks from Saturday January 22, all children's and adult programs held in council libraries on the mainland and islands have been suspended.

Library staff will continue story sessions for kids at pop-up libraries at Thornlands Community Park, Wellington point Reserve and IndigiScapes Centre.

The branch at Dunwich will be closed on Tuesdays with reduced staff availability.

The libraries will instead offer online programs with story and craft activities which can be done at home.

All libraries will be open for borrowing, with visitors to wear face masks and use the Check In Qld app or record their details manually.

Computers, printing and free Wi-Fi services will also still be available, and e-books and audio books from Council's Digital Library can be accessed through the online catalogue.

Library return chutes remain open 24/7, except on public holidays.
