UPDATE
THE Cleveland State School fete has been postponed until November 3.
The school’s P&C announced on social media that the event had been postponed due to predictions that there were be a very high chance of rain and wind.
The fete will be from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, November 3.
Anyone who has bought an arm band for rides and needs a refund can email clevelandssfete2018@gmail.com.
EARLIER
CARNIVAL rides, games and a decade roll call are just some of the fete activities organised to help Cleveland State School celebrate their 150th year.
The school’s P&C association secretary Michelle Finlay said everyone was everyone was invited to enjoy the fun on between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, October 13.
Wristbands for unlimited rides on the roller coaster, giant slide, tea cup spin and more can be bought at the gate for $35, with individual turns priced at $5 per go.
Ms Finlay said more than 100 market stalls would be set up, with plenty of food and drinks for sale to keep patrons’ hunger at bay.
Old English toffee and lollies, home bake and cookies will be just some of the tasty treats offered from school stalls but purchases from other food vendors will also available.
Performances, giveaways, a petting zoo and more are also set to entertain, with patrons able to try their luck in raffles.
Cleveland State School is at the corner of Queen and Wynyard streets, Cleveland.
